DAY 1 : ARRIVE DELHI
Welcome to India! Our representative will welcome you at Delhi International Airport and transfer you to the hotel for a comfortable night stay. Stay overnight at Delhi.
DAY 2 : DELHI
Old Delhi was the capital of India between 17th and 19th century. In Old Delhi one will find many mosques, monuments and forts relating to India’s Islamic history. Delhi has many tourist attractions to offer. Pay a visit to the Red Fort and Qutab Minar, the Old Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Bahai Temple, Birla Mandir and many other sights. Visit the vibrant shopping complex of Connaught Place, Delhi Haat for handicraft goods and delicious food. Just drop in at Janpath for buying a variety of cheap and best items. Or take a stroll at Rajpath. If you are looking for spiritual peace, visit the Lotus temple, which is also famous for its marvelous architecture and heavenly beauty. Overnight at Delhi.
DAY 3 : DELHI - Jaipur
After breakfast at hotel you will leave for Jaipur. On arrival check into the hotel for short relax later then you will go for sightseeing in Jaipur. After sightseeing return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 4 : Jaipur
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is one of the most popular destinations on a tourist’s itinerary, known for its magnificent forts, beautiful havelis and colourful bazaars. Jaipur is part of the famous Golden Triangle tour, which also includes Delhi and Agra. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City. Jaipur’s date with the pink colour goes back to 1905-1906, when the city was getting ready to welcome the Prince of Wales and needed a fresh coat of paint. The contractor’s inability to provide any other colour than pink saw Jaipur washed in pink hue.
There are a number of forts and palaces in and around Jaipur that tell the tales of Jaipur’s rich and vibrant heritage. Some of the important landmarks include Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar observatory, City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Gaitore, Nahargarh Fort from where you have a wonderful view all over Jaipur, Birla temple, and Galta Ji (the Monkey temple). Besides the architectural wonders that dot Jaipur, shopping in the colorful bazaars is another exciting way to spend your day. Handicraft items make perfect souvenirs and Jaipur is most famous for its semi-precious stones, jewellery and miniature paintings. DAY 5 : Jaipur- Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Have breakfast at hotel you will leave for Agra en routing visit Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival check into the hotel for short relax and later you will go for sightseeing in Agra. From Jaipur you can make an excursion to Sikandra or make a side trip to Fatehpur Sikri, a magnificent fortified ghost city (on the way from Jaipur to Agra).
Little needs to be said about the main reason for any tourist to visit Agra, the architectural wonder of the Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed by the Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen.
The TajMahal is open for visits 6 days a week, closed on Fridays, from sunrise till 7.30 pm.
Proceed for sightseeing to the Agra Fort. Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly made of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque.
Also visit Itmadullah’s Tomb, built by empress Noor Jehan in memory of her father, the interiors of which by some are considered better than the Taj. Overnight at Agra.
DAY 6 : Agra - Delhi : Departure
Have breakfast at the hotel driver will drive you to Delhi International Airport to board your flight to home or next destination.
